Internet Research Specialist 

At Clean Journey we work with Clean Tech companies and build them Talent Communities to highlight why they are a great place to consider for an immediate or future career move. We build them by helping to populate their Talent Community with people interested in the Green Economy. Also, in some cases these companies want us to populate their Communities with people with specific skills. Our Internet Research Specialist will have a big role in supporting this effort (and many others too).

In this role you will use all of your knowledge of the Internet and search skills to uncover various groups of people, clubs, companies, associations for Advanced Internet Networking. Your strong understanding and use of Social Networks will help you to advance our knowledge of opportunities (Linked In, Zoom, Facebook, Jigsaw, Pimple, GreaseMonkey are some of the typical sites you will make use of in this role...). In addition to working on the Talent Community Program, the Internet Research Specialist will also be very involved with our Marketing initiatives providing marketing research for a huge host of mission critical projects involving universities, media, blogosphere, VC’s, private equity, government agencies, and many more. If you are somewhat of a sleuth with benevolent "hacking" skills you would be great at this role.

Location - Ideally it would be great to have the person live in the Boston Metro region - but for the right person it’s not that big an issue - telecommuting would be fine.

Business Journalist – Media Specialist

This is a key role for Clean Journey where you will use all of your creativity, writing, and media (video, etc.) ability to tell a unique story of each Clean Tech company and the industry as a whole.

The object is to make it fun and interesting and different than anything found anywhere else - yes - a tall order (particularly for business), but we have crafted 30 different "angles' to consider for story ideas and only need someone to come and run with the ball - hopefully finding a destination that we haven't even considered as of yet!!

This is a great opportunity to make something special and we will provide all the autonomy to make it happen!

Location - Ideally we would like to see our staff (Boston based would be great)- but with extensive video conferencing capabilities – it’s not a deal breaker...

Social Media Marketing Specialist 

OK - how many of the thousands of you out there can do this??? It seems that everyone is an SMM professional these days - but when it comes to Community Development using different social networking sites as a platform - there is an obvious reason why (need I say 500MM people on Facebook...).

We're looking for an "all in" approach that marries SMM with classic marketing techniques to build a community for Clean Journey. We feel that we have marked out the ground well with our concept and focus (Sustainability), but really need someone that sees the whole landscape with a curious perspective of what is possible...and what to shoot for!!

With changes and advances coming every month, week and day - its critical to keep on the edge of what can be accomplished. Everyone is seeking a community of users - we need to break through that clutter and make a difference. We hope to find a SMM expert that can show us the way!! Is that you?

Location- Like the majority of our openings - we would love that person to be local to the Boston marketplace - but certainly realize that the communication we have is up to the challenge for a person from anywhere...

Internet Technologist – Content Management Specialist

This is obviously a key role where you will blend your technical expertise in Internet Content Management tools with your eye to web design. We are very aware that both roles aren't mutually found together in one person - but also know that somewhere out there you exist!

We have built our homegrown site using rudimentary tools - and have spent most of our funds on database, search, client dashboard and user registration tools. We need a technologist that can work with our established contract programmers to patch together various software packages and make them work.

We built the site in DNN originally due to ease of use for non technical people (us) and have incorporated some C# and ASP.Net too. We are wedded to none of it - and hope to move to a web platform that is more robust as we grow...yes we know not ideal - but we love a challenge!!

We have BIG plans for the technical side with a lot of ideas that are only waiting for the right person to help us implement - and an "open book" to new ideas that will take us beyond our own meager imaginations...

Location- Would love the person to be in the Boston area, but realize that it doesn't have to be - we do have phones and internet connections...:)

Business Development Specialist

In this role you will be working business to business to build our relationships with affiliates and co-branding types of possibilities. You'll probably be pretty seasoned at doing t his type of work and comfortable talking with "C" level execs about business deals and marriages.

There is a probability that you would also do a bit of selling of our services to directly clients - but after we establish our brand and niche in the market - this activity would be greatly diminished and working deals and building the Clean Journey brand through partnerships and affiliates would be the key activity.

Location - Ideally this role should be based out of Concord, MA HQ, but again it that is a barrier, for the best person for the role - plane, email, smart phone...

Sales Specialist

In this role you will have unlimited opportunity to make your mark and build a large cache of new business. The possibility for income generation is also unlimited.

The key to success for any excellent salesperson is to leverage relationships on a consultative basis - and this is exactly what the Clean Journey product and service offering provides. In addition, for growth it is important that there are increased levels or tiers of client participation so the sale can continue to grow for each client. Clean Journey is built to also provide this.

Our clients are start-up companies to billion dollar organizations - and it is all business to business. To succeed to the highest levels, our sales people will be outstanding client managers who can root out client needs by filling those needs with Clean Journey products and services. Obviously, being a student of these offerings will help in ensuring that success, as well as a keen understanding of the companies and business sectors that you approach for potential clients.

The possibility for growth is immense - and although Clean Journey is anew company - our services are on the cutting edge and will attract an interested audience - making introductions and lead development a bit less of a challenge...

Location- We need our sales specialists to live in the territory where they will work - but they don't need to work near our HQ.
